From 5pm on Friday night there was much more to enjoy, whether at The River, the Corner Bar, Morries, the Arc or Settlers Tavern all of which were bursting at the seams.  The whole town was alive with music, with a couple of buskers in the main street as well. The atmosphere everywhere was terrific.
Saturday there were workshops, ukulele playing in the new Shell, located between the HEART and the Shire Offices and many other events throughout the town.
Saturday evening was labelled the Main Event and took place at The River.  One great artist after another performed on the stage from 6pm until midnight. Interstate visitors who had not come for the Festival but just happened to be in Margaret River and reflected on how lucky they were.
It was obvious that the performers were all happy to be in Margaret River and it is clearly going to become a festival which will quickly build a reputation as one of the best music festivals in Australia.
