The Rotary Club of Margaret River was one of the first local groups to back Radio Margaret River (RMR). Pip Mattiske spoke to the club on Tuesday 21st July and thanked the Club for their support saying she was pleased to call the club a founding partner.RMR will be the first internet radio station in the south west and will be accessible from any computer with an internet connection and from anywhere, world-wide. Programmes will be community guided and will evolve as the community participates.
There will be an indigenous programme hosted by Zac Webb and it will be a vehicle to promote community events and news.
RMR goals and objectives are to serve and support the community, promoting local business, tourist, arts and culture. It will be set up at the Community centre.
