The Lottery West grant application for the Margaret River Mens Shed has been given the green light and $311,500 has been awarded for the construction of the first stage of the new Mens Shed in Gloucester Park. A further $277,500 has been raised locally with generous support from the Rotary Club of Margaret River with $200,000, The Shire of Augusta/Margaret River with $50,000, The Lions Club of Margaret River with $10,000 and The Bendigo Bank – Augusta Branch with $2,500. Mens Shed members have also held numerous Firewood raffles and events to help with fund raising in addition to money raised through the sale of furniture and other items produced in the Shed.Mens Shed Update
