This weeks club meeting (22 Feb 2021) was a guided tour of the Men’s Shed construction followed by an excellent dinner at the Tuckshop.Work on the new Shed commenced in early 2020 and when finished in the winter of 2021 it will enable Margaret River Mens Shed to expand its activities, its membership (including ladies), its skills base and its offering to the Margaret River community as a whole. Rotary Margaret River as a core sponsor of the Men’s Shed, recently pledged a further $100,000 towards the final stage of the building program.
The tower which had previously supported a water tank has been preserved and will become an important part of the new
building. Congratulations to all involved in this long process, A wonderful achievement.
