11 students have expressed interest in the Alternative Leavers Project to be held in East Timor later this year.

Young Mums with kids are recognised as one of the many groups around town who appreciate the many facilities offered at Rotary Park. The Wishing Well in the park remains popular and generated $106.20 in donations over the last month.

Club Members who involved themselves in Bag Checking at the Cape Mentelle Movies in the Vineyard helped create a cache of 63 bottles of wines to be used as raffle prizes and at club functions. 

The Board has agreed to fund the chaplaincy program at Margaret River Senior High School as soon as administrative arrangements are finalised.

Guest speakers Rex and Betty Dyer (St John Ambulance) outlined an initiative to introduce the 'First Responder' program across the Shire. The plan which has small mobile defribulator packs positioned at strategic locations in Margaret River with trained members of the public available to use them where people have suffered cardiac arrest.

The Club's contribution to the 'womens shelter' in Busselton is going ahead. More news to follow as appropriate.
